NEW RELEASE "OUT NOW" - Verdelho 2011

Last year was a very different climate in which to grow grapes from what we have experience in the past.

The verdelho experienced a little damage due to the humidity created by late summer rainfall. This creates problems with mildew and can have devastated effects on grape crops if not controlled.

We managed to cut out any damaged fruit and the remaining crop was surprisingly very good. The style we produced for 2011 is very different to subsequent material. We fashioned the wine to maintain strong fruit driven middle, yet a cleaner slightly drier finish.

For those of you that are loving the new trend in Pinot Gris, you will really enjoy the 2011 Verdelho
